Jake:
Biomedical Engineering

As an adaptive coach for rowing in high school, Jake saw firsthand how the field of engineering is instrumental in making it possible for people with disabilities to engage in athletics and build confidence. Now having graduated with a degree in biomedical engineering from BU, Jake works for Boston Scientific testing software used in heart operations—originally an internship through BU’s “with Engineering Practice” degree option that turned into a full-time job.
